Xbox Does Instant On Download Game Queue

I left it to download overnight and the next day 'too', but the status was the same. I cleared Windows Store cache before, in addition I tried to download this game in 'clean boot', changed my region and ran troubleshooter. After running troubleshooter it showed that 'Display adapters drivers might be out of date'. Apr 27, 2015  My games are getting stuck in queuing when I try to install them. To me with the redbox app. Thankfully i don't need it was just downloading it to download it and it's the only one it does that to me with. Not using instant on and have hard reset and to this day it still won't download red box. Not only were downloads. Jun 26, 2016 - Ordinarily when Instant-on mode is used any updates will download in the background even when the Xbox is turned off however if you have the When Xbox is off, turn off storage the external hard disk will be powered down and any games on the disk will not be updated while the console is turned off and will not update.

Not Downloading Games While Turned Off In 'Instant On' Mode

Hi Guys...need a bit of help

I started to download TR last night from GWG. It got to about 35% before i went to bed so i switched it off (standby mode not totally off...white LED on power brick)

This morning, turned it back on and the download was still at 35%....Im sure you could download games in the past while the console is turned off.

Ive check my settings and 'download and update while off' is checked (i think its says that. im at work atm)

I use WIFI not wired, could this play a part as it turns wifi off in standby? im also on the xbox preview program too so maybe its a glitch/bug?

anybody else get this?

EDIT - Unchecking 'when Xbox is off, turn off storage' seems to do the trick
